Breast Reduction: Pain
Breast reduction is major surgery. You will feel some pain for the first few days after surgery, especially when you move around or cough. Your discomfort should be manageable with pain medication that your doctor will prescribe.

Your breasts will be tender to the touch and sensitive to movement that would cause any jiggling for several weeks.

Some women find some discomfort due to swelling of the breasts with their first menstrual period following surgery.
